SHARON KING and the Reckless Angels: Home

Described as a 'national treasure' by the ex Scottish Minister for

Enterprise and Tourism, and 2011 winner of Edinburgh Folk Clubs annual

songwriting competition, the 'Edinburgh based singer /songwriter with a

talent for spinning yarns...’ (List) continues to build a reputation for vibrant,

funny, relaxed and intimate live shows.

Touring with her trio The Reckless Angels: Scottish fiddler Amy

Geddes (Savourna Stevenson - fiddle, viola, banjo and vocals)

and Vera van Heeringen (ex-New Rope String Band - guitar, mandolin and

vocals) Sharon King and The Reckless Angels are continuing to gain

recognition from all quarters with their brand of original, confessional

and distinctive music. Sharon’s sets are peppered with tales of her west

coast travels: poignant songs are delivered wrapped in witty banter and

funny stories, creating a show filled with laughter and fine music.

The band are recording Sharons fourth album Nothing = Everything

in March 2012, with a release date of 18th July 2012.
